Aries season radiates warmth, action, and passion! Let’s unite to mark the beginning of the new astrology year, reaffirm our intentions, and foster peace and harmony in our body, mind, and spirit. Depart with a feeling of rejuvenation and tranquility. WHAT IS A SOUND BATH?  In general, Sound baths are a deeply immersive experience that creates deliberate relaxation, in which one experiences full body listening on a cellular level, which creates a natural “body scan” and deep relaxation, producing renewal and recovery, for the central nervous system and the energetic body. You will be bathed in sound waves that are generated from music and instruments such as rattles, singing bowls, gong, chimes, water drums and tuning forks.  The sound bath experience will begin with cleansing our auras through sage, palo santo The sound bath opens with a simple ritual to welcome everyone and to create the group dynamic Breathwork and light stretching movements will be done to help with relaxation of the physical body. WHAT TO EXPECT Feelings of agitation, anger, sadness, anxious, tired, wired, annoyed, peace, bliss etc.. can be felt as the sounds integrates with the bodies energetic field and releases blocked, clogged or stuck patterns in the energy field. We will lay in supine, on our side or in a chair for 25 mins  Maximum comfort is essential. Light Yoga mats and medium weight blankets will be provided, but please bring additional items so that you can be completely comfortable. Eclectic Music Festival & Arts Crawl

See you at The Eclectic! The 14th Eclectic Music Festival and Arts Crawl is scheduled for Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 3:00pm – 10:00pm. The Eclectic is a community music and art festival that is family-friendly and free to attend. This year’s festival is currently being organized – details will be available soon. Last year’s festival boasted 15 stages, over 75 musicians, more than 20 participating businesses and restaurants, 50 artisans, 25 vintage vendors, 3 beer and wine gardens, multiples interactive experiences, a kids zone, and more! The Eclectic is a day and evening of fun. It’s a non-profit, community event that is produced by the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, with support from the City of South Pasadena, our sponsors and many volunteers. The Eclectic welcomes everyone.

Winter Arts Crawl 2024

A Free Neighborhood-Night-on-the-Town with Art, Music, Shopping, Food and Friends! Artists, musicians, and merchants will celebrate the winter season with another fun and family-friendly South Pasadena Arts Crawl on Saturday, February 10, 3-8pm. Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, the South Pasadena Arts Crawl welcomes the community to this free event which offers art exhibition and interactive activities, open houses, food and drink specials, and sales throughout the business district. Stroll the Streets of South Pas for the Holidays

Experience South Pasadena Debuts Holiday Walking Tour The City of South Pasadena and the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce are delighted to announce the launch of a new holiday themed, self-guided walking tour as part of the Experience South Pasadena program. The latest tour, Stroll the Streets of South Pas, will run until January 4, 2024. Similar to past tours, this latest curated experience was designed to excite residents and nearby consumers to explore the City’s unique experiences and businesses while showcasing South Pasadena’s rich history and diverse business landscape.  Stroll the Streets of South Pas offers participants the flexibility to create their own adventure as they are inspired to discover their own “festive favorites” in town across five categories: Drink, Meal, or Treat; Holiday Events; Gifting Go-To; Storefront Display; and Home Decorations. Upon the conclusion of the tour on January 4, 2024, the City and Chamber of Commerce will randomly select one participant who has completed all five stops to win a $50 gift card to a local business of their choice. Participation in Stroll the Streets of South Pas is free. There are two easy options: 1. Check in to each stop of the tour digitally by clicking here.  Or: 2. Pick up a printed brochure at City Hall, the Chamber office, the Library, or the South Pasadena Senior Center to track your visits by pen and paper. ‘Crafted in South Pas’ an Experience South Pasadena Initiative

Experience South Pasadena Debuts Two New Self-Guided Walking Tours Encouraging Engagement with Local Businesses and Experiences The City of South Pasadena and the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce are delighted to announce the launch of two new seasonally themed, self-guided walking tours as part of the “Experience South Pasadena” program. Both tours will run from September 18 – October 23, 2023, and were designed to excite residents and nearby consumers to engage with local businesses and landmarks in new ways and be reminded of the many diverse offerings that comprise the landscape of South Pasadena. The “Crafted in South Pas” tour celebrates local businesses that specialize in handmade products. Featured tour stops include Fiore Market Café, Moss & Meadow, Retreat Lifestyle, Cos&Pi, and Artisans’ Alley at the October 21st Arts Crawl. The “Architecture and Building Tour,” produced by the South Pasadena Public Library, provides a captivating historic journey of notable buildings in the city’s Mission District. Upon the conclusion of the tours on October 23, 2023, the City and Chamber of Commerce will randomly select a participant that has completed the Crafted in South Pas tour to win a $50 gift card to a participating business of their choice. The Summer 2023 tours – “Around the World in South Pasadena” and “Library Art” – brought 50 visitors to the city and inspired residents to visit businesses for the first time as well as visit ones they had not been to recently. “The Experience South Pasadena program is a really cool idea. Love that I get to explore the city and try new places with the program while also supporting local business,” said one participant.  Participation in the tours is free; there are two easy options to start: 1. Experience South Pasadena: Featuring YOUR Business!

Experience South Pasadena is a program launched by the City of South Pasadena and the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce to engage residents and nearby consumers to engage with our local businesses in exciting ways, and remind them of the many diverse business offerings that are located within our city – whether they have been here for decades or have recently opened. The program offers 8-week long, self-guided, seasonally themed walking tours which explore the City’s businesses and showcase the rich history that can be found in South Pasadena. Our first tour (Around the World in South Pasadena) launched in June and featured seven South Pasadena businesses. A new tour will launch at the end of each previous one, each with it’s own theme and a new set of featured businesses. By encouraging residents and visitors to shop local, the program aims to stimulate economic growth, strengthen the local economy, and cultivate a vibrant community spirit.
