Wednesday afternoon, May 6, LA County announced that certain types of businesses and public spaces in the county will be allowed to reopen on Friday, May 8, with strict limitations and guidelines for employees and customers.
The first round of re-openings will include trails, golf courses, *florists and *stores that sell toys, books, clothing, sporting goods and music. The revised "safer-at-home" order will only allow for CURB-SIDE PICK-UP at thee businesses (they will not be open for customers in the "normal" sense). In addition, there are strict guidelines that must be adhered to for a business to be able to reopen. The county expects to publish these orders soon, and should be available on the
COVID-19 Website. There is also information on that website about the current "Safer at home" order that might be helpful in determining what the guidelines to reopen might be.
*These businesses MUST NOT be located within shopping malls.
