Phase 1 of the Al Fresco dining/shopping program has been approved and the City's planning department is working on the paperwork and permit process for businesses. Phase 1 gives businesses the option to apply to use private space (such as a parking lot) for outdoor dining and shopping. It also gives businesses the option to apply to change a parking space in front of your business to a shorter, curbside pick-up zone.
The city will work with each business and they are currently developing an application form to help streamline the process, but any businesses that are interested in getting started now, can email their request HERE. We suggest you include some basic information about your business and what you plan to apply for when sending your initial e-mail.
