A place where anyone, no matter their age, experience or interest could come to receive the gift of music.
South Pasadena Arts and Music Academy (SPAMA) was founded in South Pasadena in 2013. SPAMA was created to be a place where anyone, no matter their age, experience, or interests could come to receive the gift of music. Although we do enormously appreciate the dedication and sheer determination that it takes to be a virtuoso or professional musician, we understand that not all music lovers necessarily dream so grandly; not everyone has the same motivation for learning or takes the same musical path. Does this mean then that this sacred gift of music is off-limits for most people? We never thought so. And we’ve spent a great deal of our lives proving that music is for every adult and child who desires to open themselves to it. We’ve seen it change people’s lives and SPAMA was opened to give experienced, passionate and dedicated music instructors an opportunity to bring that gift to as many people as possible.
We believe in the power of music to inspire and enrich lives. We sincerely believe in passing down the joy of music to all of our students — providing them with exposure to musical expression and building self-esteem.
With our instructors’ many years of musical training, performance experience, and a deep commitment to quality and professionalism, the South Pasadena Arts & Music Academy offers an optimal choice for music instruction.
South Pasadena Arts and Music Academy is a proud sponsor of the South Pasadena Educational Foundation.
