It was March 2020 and Commercial Director Raúl Fernández was out of work due to the pandemic. What started as a simple request from his wife to build planters for their backyard quickly turned into a burgeoning operation run by Raúl and his partner, Colin. Born entirely out of the organic demand for beautiful and functional planter boxes and critter covers, Victory Garden LA now has a team of full time and part time workers every day of the week, building and delivering planters to the greater Los Angeles area. The business also provides soil, irrigation, “herbies,” birdhouses, and customizable trellises – and has caught the attention of Spectrum News 1, the LA Times, and Sunset Magazine.
