🚧 Street Closure: July 29th, 7:00am - 4:00pm🚧

On Monday, July 29th, the City of South Pasadena will host a press conference to unveil the nation’s first all-electric police fleet and the completion of supportive EV charging infrastructure. The event will take place in front of City Hall on Mission Street, resulting in the closure of Mission Street between Fair Oaks and Fremont from 7:00am to 4:00pm.

What to Expect:
- The road closure is scheduled from 7:00am to 4:00pm on Mission Street between Fair Oaks and Fremont
- The event starts at 11:00am.
- Parking lots and alleys will remain accessible.
- Motorists should expect delays.
- A stage will be set up in front of City Hall with special guest speakers.
- Extensive media coverage and reserved parking for press and guest speakers will be in place.
- Please follow posted signs for traffic guidance.

📢 California Now Requires Workplace Violence Prevention Plans 📒✍️

Beginning July 1, 2024, employers of all sizes will be required to have a written workplace violence prevention plan, maintain a violent incident log, and provide workplace violence prevention training to employees. These requirements apply to nearly all California employers.

🔔 Complete information on the requirements is available at the Cal/OSHA’s Workplace Violence Prevention Guidance and Resources page, which includes helpful FAQs and a Fact Sheet.
