SPHS Interact Club 1st Annual Pickleball Fundraiser
The Rotary Interact Club is a branch of the Rotary Club designed for kids 12-18 and enables them to participate in community service significantly and positively. Through these service projects, kids and teens can develop leadership skills and contact the international community around them. There are around 15,000 clubs active today around the world, and 342,953 interact members in 145 countries! The SPHS Interact Club Β has over 60 very active members, and they are hosting a pickleball fundraiser on April 14 between 3 pm and 6 pm at the Arroyo Racquet Club in South Pasadena, CA. They are fundraising to support the Rocky McKinnon Adaptive Surf program that enables people with mental & physical disabilities to surf and enjoy the ocean this summer, too! With the money collected, the club is sponsoring a βquadβ board.
