Bubbles Dog Rescue Fundraiser

Dine, dance, listen to music and bid on auction items while saving rescue dogs and helping them find homes. Golden Oaks Apartments, 1000 El Centro St. in South Pasadena, is hosting a fundraiser for Bubbles Dog Rescue from 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, April 15 in the building’s club room. Party attire is requested. Parking is available on the street.

Robin Ortega, the building manager, and her husband work with the rescue organization in transporting and fostering dogs. “A couple of dogs that just touched my heart were euthanized recently,” she said, “because there were no fosters available and not enough money to support them.” She decided to hold a fundraiser to help the group save more dogs.

All proceeds from the event will go to Bubbles Dog Rescue to pay for medical treatment, arrange for transportation and find temporary or permanent homes. Donors are covering costs of catering and other expenses for the evening.
