12th Annual Pray for Schools

Come join your neighbors at the 12th Annual Pray for Schools event, which will be held at 6PM on Sept. 3 in front of South Pasadena High School.

The community has been coming together since 2014, when a school shooting threat prompted walks from the churches in the city to the steps of the high school to hold vigil and lift prayers for safety and well-being. All are welcome regardless of faith tradition, and in addition to praying for the schools we lift up prayers for the school leadership, our first responders, our city leaders, and our religious leaders.

Come out for the hour to share concerns about the community and pray on them as a group. The event is organized by Moms in Prayer of South Pasadena and the South Pasadena Prayer Breakfast.
