The Maya Salon: A Place for More than Just Your Hair & Skin Needs
Meet Azelle Santa Ana, owner of The Maya Salon on Mission Street. Azelle describes the salon as a place not only for your hair and skin needs but where their goal is to make you feel beautiful inside and out. The Maya Salon is a cooperative of artists, and they often host events for the beauty industry and community.
Azelle was drawn to the beauty industry as a way to explore her artistic side in tandem with her love of supporting others. Her advice for others in her profession – “Say yes and believe!”
A big fan of the shops on Mission Street she notes Munch Company, Hotbox Vintage, Retreat and more as some of her favorite local South Pas spots.
