The November ShopTalk will feature a very timely topic: trauma. Often, we have staff or co-workers that have experienced some type of trauma. Hillsides will offer insight and assistance so employers can provide an atmosphere in the workplace that is helpful, supportive and effective and productive.
At the October ShopTalk, City Manager Stephanie DeWolfe introduced two new City staff members: Craig Koehler, Finance Director and John Pope, Public Information Officer. She then presented a detailed overview of the UUT funding; it’s history, how the funds are used, and the impact to the City’s budget should it be repealed. Sally Kilby and John Vandercook, members of the South Pasadena Public Services Committee 2018 – NO on N”, offered some additional commentary on what the impact of a repeal of the UUT would have on the quality of life enjoyed by the residents, businesses and visitors in South Pasadena.
