City Manager Stephanie DeWolfe clearly and succinctly described the current budget situation, along with some alternatives that are being discussed with various constituent groups in the city.  She and Finance Director Craig Koehler shared a power point presentation that outlined some of the facts about the situation and how the various options would help alleviate the budget deficit.   Click to see the presentation.

Despite rain, an early Sunday morning and it being Super Bowl Sunday, there was a fun crowd on hand to celebrate the Ribbon Cutting of Lost Parrot Cafe. They are a cool, new coffee shop/cafe located at 1929 Huntington Drive. On hand to celebrate this new business is Avick Manoukian, SPPOA, Winston Secrest and Justin Prietto, owners of Lost Parrot Cafe, Mayor Dr. Marina Khubesrian, Mayor Pro Tem Bob Joe, Evette Kim, from the office of Senator Anthony Portantino and Laurie Astle, Chamber Ambassador.
