DESCRIPTION:Each camp consists of two camp weeks\, Monday through Friday\, 9am to 3pm\, culminating in four shows the last weekend of that camp (2 shows on Saturday and 2 shows on Sunday)\, which all campers will perform in! \nProgram director Gloria Bennett produced her first theatre camp in the summer of 1997\, and has since produced more than 50 camps and nearly 250 shows\, most with all-youth casts. YSTA camp is the place for the youth actor who wants to grow as an actor and have the time of their lives.  \nYSTA camp trains the actor in all aspects of performance\, helping their skill set expand while producing a high level show. If your child is up to the challenge\, YSTA summer camp is the place for them!  Doing theatre helps children with their confidence\, communication skills\, and ability to work with others. \nCamp Information:​ \nOur camps are designed for all levels of performers (beginners through advanced). SUMMARY:12th Annual Pray for Schools
DESCRIPTION:Come join your neighbors at the 12th Annual Pray for Schools event\, which will be held at 6PM on Sept. 3 in front of South Pasadena High School. \nThe community has been coming together since 2014\, when a school shooting threat prompted walks from the churches in the city to the steps of the high school to hold vigil and lift prayers for safety and well-being. All are welcome regardless of faith tradition\, and in addition to praying for the schools we lift up prayers for the school leadership\, our first responders\, our city leaders\, and our religious leaders. \nCome out for the hour to share concerns about the community and pray on them as a group. The event is organized by Moms in Prayer of South Pasadena and the South Pasadena Prayer Breakfast.
