DESCRIPTION:The exhibit features the 2024 photographic art competition student finalists’ photographs. Thirty-one student finalists were selected to participate in the exhibition. Their work encompasses the categories of: Places\, People\, Things and Abstracts. \nThe William G. Ericson Foundation\, in partnership with the Pasadena City College Foundation\, sponsored the competition with public high schools in the Pasadena Area Community College District to provide scholarship awards to meritorious participants. Photographer\, William “Bill” Ericson\, was the distinguished publisher of the South Pasadena Review (1947-2012)\, a weekly community newspaper\, and The Quarterly Magazine (1978-2012)\, an upscale lifestyle magazine \nin the San Gabriel Valley.  \nOpening Reception:  \nSaturday\, September 21st  \n3:00 pm – 6:00 pm  \nSPARC Gallery @  \nthe South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce  \n1121 Mission St. \n South Pasadena\, CA 91030  \nThe exhibit runs through November 2nd.  \nGallery hours will vary after the opening.  \nTo schedule visits on other dates during the run of the show\, contact the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce \nat (626) 441-2339.
