Meet Diane Kelber of BingsWings Productions:

Provide a brief description of your business’s services or products:

Heart. Humor. Humanity. Bingswings Productions creates affordable videos for your website, social media, commercials, email newsletters, conventions and MORE.  We also love creating videos for nonprofit fundraising, which can be cut-down and repurposed into Public Service Announcements (PSAs) for television and radio. We love our new drone camera, which literally gives your business a unique perspective!

Some very recent clients include Caltech in Pasadena, Physician’s Computer Company headquartered in Vermont, the Theodore Payne Foundation in Sunland and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

If you can imagine it, we can shoot it. Or, we’ll imagine it for you! BingsWings Productions is here to give your story wings.

What inspires your continued work in this field of business?:

I am very curious by nature, and absolutely love learning about disparate subjects and then putting together concise video stories so everyone else can learn too. We have tackled subjects from Pilates to pediatricians; physics, to equine therapy; California native plants to private girls’ schools – the possibilities are endless. I thrive on telling visual stories with lots of heart and a sprinkling of humor. Almost every business owner now realizes they must have a short video on their website and social media that tells their story – because most potential clients are not in the habit of reading any more! Videos help your business rise to the top in Google searches. I love helping people! And I also love being able to put people at ease while they tell their stories on camera. I am a professional actress, so I completely understand how nervous people are when they undertake starring in their video! I find it inspiring to come up with multiple ways to tell a story depending on how small or big the budget is. Most people would be surprised at how they can have a professional video on their website to draw in customers, without breaking the bank.

What are five words (or less) of advice for others in your profession?:

Listen, flexibly collaborate, find the joy! Oops, that was six words!

What is your favorite local spot?:

I think I’d have to say Shiro. We go there for our anniversary just about every year. We used to go to there with my husband’s dear aunt (“nana”) who lived in South Pas. Now when we go for our anniversary it’s like going home, only I could never cook like that! It always reminds us of nana.

Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?:

My husband and I went to Paris for our 25th wedding anniversary. Of course everyone knows what a gorgeous city it is, but we have so many memories of meeting amazing, quirky and/or elegant people, speaking very broken French (me), eating the best food, seeing an opera in Russian with French subtitles that wouldn’t have made sense in English, walking so far every day that we wore down our shoes, visiting every museum we could, taking the metros, getting lost, and basking in the beauty of the gardens – and the shop windows. It inspired us as artists, and was the perfect place to celebrate such a special anniversary.

Anything else you’d like to tell us about yourself or your business?:

I really love collaborating with people for their all-important videos. We do most of the work for you. We’ll ask lots of questions, do lots of research, help you select clients for testimonials, do the scheduling, create interview questions, make sure that we are quiet and professional and importantly don’t interrupt your business during the shoot. You’ll end up with a video that’s as professional as your business! Our videos will help your clients open up their hearts – and their wallets.
